We explore antibiotic prophylaxis in transurethral procedures in the HealthFacts database. This was to be presented in Amsterdam at EAU 2020, but the conference was cancelled due to Coronavirus. This was an online poster in the end.

Group B Streptococcus and the vaginal microbiota

We examined the relationship between Group B Streptococcus (GBS) colonization and the vaginal microbiota. Findings included specific taxa (like Prevotella Bivia) associated with GBS colonization/non-colonization. There was not a strong relationship with overall community structure.
